WE ARE A PASTORAL SCHOOL

As a Catholic school, an “Ecclesial Subject”, a place for evangelization and pastoral action, as highlighted by Vatican Council II, Santa Marcelina School assumes the commitment of being a pastoral school, promoting the living of Christian teachings in all its activities. Attitudes such as welcoming and caring, joy and enthusiasm in serving, fraternal coexistence and cooperation, present in the Gospel, permeate our actions and relationships, to the point of being perceived and experienced in the entire school environment.

Pastoral work is, therefore, a permanent action inherent to the school’s pedagogical proposal. The Marcellin charism invites us to teach Jesus to the entire educational community. And, as a pastoral school, this teaching takes place in specific moments of formation and also through the example lived and experienced on a daily basis.

In the political pedagogical project

Based on Christian values and the charism of Marcellin

Catechesis to prepare for the First Eucharist and Confirmation, offered outside of school hours, for those who wish to participate.

For the Marcellin community

For Marcellin educators

Special moments of conviviality, evangelization and preparation for the sacraments

For young people

A study and deepening of Jesus’ teachings through the Gospel and through concrete solidarity actions, such as campaigns and visits to needy institutions, nursing homes and hospitals.

In Action

Promotion of human and solidary actions that generate reflection in the community about the commitment to the most needy.

"To educate is to open to listening to the Word, is to open the intelligence to the truth,
is to form thinking according to the Gospel,
is to kindle hope, is to make life love."
